Addiction Treatment and Psychotherapy/Psychotherapy
Procedure:

Psychotherapy is a general term for treating mental health problems by talking with a psychiatrist, psychologist or other mental health provider. Psychotherapy helps the patient learn how to take control of his/her life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.

Psychotherapy can be helpful in treating most mental health problems, such as:

  • Anxiety disorders, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, panic disorder or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Mood disorders, such as depression or bipolar disorder
  • Addictions, such as alcoholism, drug dependence or compulsive gambling
  • Eating disorders, such as anorexia or bulimia
  • Personality disorders, such as borderline personality disorder or dependent personality disorder
  • Schizophrenia or other disorders that cause detachment from reality (psychotic disorders)

Psychotherapy is carried out in a professionally organized mental health center, which provides psychiatric, psychotherapeutic and psychological assistance to all outpatient, inpatient and day care cases.

Each patient is treated individually; the choice of treatment depends on the history of the disease, age, current health status, personal characteristics, etc. The center is provided with high-quality medication.

The specialists are professionals with relevant experience; the medical staff is caring, compassionate, responsible and skilled.

1. Outpatient Psychiateric Assistance

  •  Psychiatric Consultation

Is carried out by highly qualified specialists in accordance with international standards, during which the problem of mental health is identified, appropriate treatment is prescribed, and further treatment tactics are developed. A number of social and psychological problems are also discussed and their optimal solutions are proposed.

Psychiatric consultation is performed in the mental health center or at home; the duration of each visit lasts 45-60 minutes.

  • Psychotherapeutic Consultation

The psychotherapeutic approach is especially effective for stress-related neurotic problems. It is used both as a stand-alone treatment and in combination with medication. Psychotherapy is conducted with regular visits, the frequency of which is determined by the mutual consent of the specialist and the patient, taking into account the mental health problem and the personal characteristics of the patient.

  • Art Theraphy

Art therapy is an integrative mental health and human services profession that enriches the lives of individuals through active art-making, creative process, applied psychological theory, and human experience within a psychotherapeutic relationship. Art Therapy effectively supports personal and relational treatment goals. It is used to improve cognitive and sensory-motor functions, foster self-esteem and self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, enhance social skills and reduce and resolve conflicts and distress.

Some branches of art therapy are performed in a specially designed office.

  • Committee Discussions to Make Conclusions On Mental Health

The committee consists of 2-3 doctors-specialists, who carry out an examination within one visit, during which the patient's complaints, anamnestic data, concomitant diseases and treatments are presented and discussed in detail; a conclusion is prepared accordingly within 3 working days and a detailed report is given to the patient on his/her current mental health status.

2. Day Care Psychiatric Assistance

  • Treatment In Day Care Conditions

Day care treatment involves the provision of psychiatric care during daily visits. Some of the therapeutic measures are organized and implemented in the mental health center, and the rest, after a detailed explanatory work with the patient, are organized in an outpatient setting. The patient is given the necessary medication, which is to be taken at the appointed time at home.

  • Monitoring In Daycare Conditions

It is implemented to assess mental health, in order to give a conclusion on it. The monitoring is carried out through daytime visits, during which the patient's behavior is observed and examined by various specialists, while an experimental-psychological examination is being performed by a psychologist. This method is especially suitable for patients who have recovered from a mental problem and want to review their current mental health condition without staying in the mental health center round the clock.

3. Psychiatric Assistance to Inpatient Cases

  • Inpatient Treatment

Inpatient treatment is a complex procedure. After admission into the mental health center, the necessary laboratory tests are performed, and upon their results, medical treatment is prescribed.

In this stage, physical problems that are directly or indirectly related to mental health problems are diagnosed and treated. Relevant medical specialists are invited and consultations are held. An interdisciplinary discussion-consultation is carried on, as a result of which the best version of treatment and approach is chosen for the given patient. Besides relieving the psychopathological symptoms, patients' psychological and social rehabilitation is taken into consideration as well.

  • The Importance of Inpatient Examination

The inpatient examination is performed to evaluate the mental health of all patients, where the diagnosis requires round-the-clock medical supervision. Psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists and other specialists take part in this process.

  • Treatment of Mental Health Problems Associated With Physical And/Or Narcological Problems

Mental health problems are often associated with addiction problems. By showing an individual approach to each patient, both mental health and narcological problems are diagnosed and treated followed by a rehabilitation period.

4. Psychological Consultation

Psychological support is necessary not only in the treatment process, but also for further rehabilitation and social adaptation.
